A word from the director
15 years of singing as a basso and producing many choir music videos has made one thing clear. Choir activities are objectively good for the world. Community and sharing enthusiasm spread good spirits to listeners and singers, I want more of that in this world.
A choir develops enormously in the production of a music video. I remember how after the first recording, the sound of our own choir began to become smoother and more precise than ever before.
Even though we competed and performed many gigs, in the recordings you have to sing through the same section as cleanly as possible many times! During the video shooting, gestures and energy became the priority. How do you bring joy and excitement to the listeners? The video was like a crash course for me to become a better choir member.
I want other choirs to experience this too.
Videos also increase the visibility of choirs, especially on social media. It is important that we properly present our choirs in order to maintain and improve the image of the choir in Finland.
